Leake — Koch

The marriage of Olga, elder daughter of Mr. H. E. Koch and the late Mrs. Koch, of Cremorne, Sydney, and formerly of Fiji, with Mr. Louis Fleming Leake, took place at St. Philip's Church, Sydney, on August 14. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful gown of white flat crepe, the long train designed with panels beaded in crystal. The same crystal beading outlined the neck and sleeves. A wreath of orange blossom held in place her filmy tulle veil, and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies. Mrs. Raleigh Thomas attended her sister as matron of honour, and Miss Enid Harrick was bridesmaid. They wore charming old world frocks of claret-red taffeta with touches of cyclamen. Their wide off-the-face hats of taffeta in the same tone were lined with cyclamen and they carried fragrant muffs of stock, hyacinths, orchids, and pansies mounted on tulle. The bridegroom, who is the second son of the late Mr. Leake and Mrs. E. M. Leake, of Cudgewa, Victoria, was attended by Mr. Gairn Ralston as best man, and Mr. Henry Thompson was groomsman. The Rev. L. H. Broadley performed the ceremony. After the service a reception was held at the Pickwick Club, where the bride's godmothers, Mrs. Gore Jones and Mrs. J. P. Berry (Melbourne), and Mrs. Fleming (aunt of the bridegroom) assisted Mr. Koch in receiving.
